Your Partner in Personal Growth
About Altagracia Santana, MSW, LCSW, LCADC, CASAC-2
I am a bilingual, bicultural licensed clinical social worker, and I use evidence-based treatment to manage anxiety, depression, trauma, and distress caused by substance use. I work with young adults, adults across the life span, and couples facing relationship conflicts. I also work with individuals and family members affected by substance use and co-dependence issues.
Proven Methods, Personal Care
I use an integrated approach that combines behavioral and psychodynamic modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), brief psychotherapy, behavioral activation, emotional focus therapy, motivational interviewing, and trauma-focused treatment.
Ready for a Lasting Change?
In addition, depending on my client’s individual needs, newer techniques such as trauma-informed treatment, guided imagery, and mindfulness were appropriate. I hope you consider taking the first step. Reaching out can be the beginning of real change.
Guidance You Can Trust
I am a compassionate, empathetic, and non-judgmental person with over 15 years of experience helping others. Each client is different. I begin with a thorough assessment, and then together, my client and I tailor a treatment plan of action.
